Overview

As a key member of the Enterprise Analytics team within the Strategy function, the Sr. Data Insights Analyst will play a critical role in transforming enterprise data into actionable analytics and insights that drive business outcomes and inform strategic and operational decision-making across the organization. The Sr. Data Insights Analyst will work closely with the data engineering team and the business to perform in-depth analyses, develop and execute statistically significant test and learn scenarios and leverage advanced analytics frameworks to effectively and efficiently surface and visualize data driven strategic insights and the associated recommended actions for consumption by senior leadership.

 

This is a hybrid role based out of our Hampton, NH or future Boston, MA office.

Responsibilities

  • Performs in-depth data analysis across a diverse portfolio of business systems to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and strategic business insights.
  • Extract and analyze large datasets from the enterprise data warehouse (Snowflake) to produce enterprise reporting, analytics and ad hoc requests for insight generation.
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders and Enterprise Data to understand objectives/outcomes and identify opportunities to leverage data to produce business intelligence and insights that drive business performance and operational efficiency.
  • Performs advanced analytics and conducts A/B testing to model business impact, assess performance and synthesize recommendations.
  • Collaborates with data engineering teams to enhance data models, pipelines and reporting infrastructure based on evolving analytical requirements.
  • Translates complex analytical finding into actionable insights and concise presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proactively identify trends, anomalies and opportunities for growth, efficiency and risk mitigation.
  • Is a change agent, sharing the vision and encouraging others to embrace change.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field required
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in data analytics or business intelligence roles
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience analyzing data using SQL, Python, R, or SAS, and developing data visualizations in tools such as Power BI, Cognos, or Excel
  • 5+ years of direct experience collaborating with data engineering and business intelligence teams to translate business needs into scalable analytical solutions
  • Deep knowledge of data analysis techniques including strategic testing, querying, modeling, and workflow design
  • Proven ability to query and manipulate large, complex datasets (Snowflake experience preferred) to identify patterns, correlations, and drivers through dynamic, multidimensional analysis
  • Demonstrated track record of translating data into clear, actionable insights and communicating opportunities, risks, and performance trends to stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical mindset with expertise in A/B testing, statistical analysis, and experimental design
  • Passion for integrating AI-driven analytics into business intelligence – translating complex data patterns into predictive and prescriptive insights that drive enterprise strategy and performance
  • Exceptional attention to detail and experience presenting data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience within a retail or consumer-facing business preferred; familiarity with franchised business models a plus
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and other web analytics tools preferred
  • Highly adaptable, with a strong “discipline of execution” to ensure high-quality deliverables, adherence to standards, and continuous improvement of people, processes, and tools
  • Excellent critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders – synthesizing needs, prioritizing work, seeking feedback, and communicating progress effectively
  • Extremely detail-oriented, efficient, and organized with an exceptional ability to establish priorities and objectives
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Able to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships with diverse individuals, internally and externally

The salary for MA-based employees hired into this role will be aligned with the range below. This is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with a candidate’s professional experience, qualifications and internal equity.

Annual Base Salary Range: $100,000-$130,000
