Overview

The Planet Fitness Media Network Account Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships and overseeing affiliate & digital marketing campaigns. This role will act as a liaison between the client and the agency or internal teams, ensuring effective communication and the successful execution of all Planet Fitness Media Network strategies. Their duties will include developing, implementing, and tracking digital media plans, analyzing campaign performance, and providing regular reports to clients. This role will also handle all post-sales activity with a focus on renewals and upsells.

 

This is a hybrid position based out of our Hampton, NH office.

Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Manage client relationships and establish long-term, value-driving relationships across new and existing clients
  • Understand client goals to proactively identify new growth opportunities and provide “white glove” services for all top-tier accounts
  • Effectively and efficiently address client concerns with timely responses & solutions
  • Act as primarily liaison between clients and key internal stakeholders with responsibilities across legal, finance, technology and CRM

Operations & Execution

  • Manage team members dedicated to ad operations and account management
  • Oversee full-year Perks affiliate promotional calendar to ensure comms plans reflect client objectives and budgets
  • Work with Sales team to upsell/cross-sell existing clients to other PFMN products
  • Oversee all Perks affiliate marketing campaign strategies, including but not limited to PerksFest
  • Collaborate with CRM team to ensure delivery of campaign assets in support of month Perks email
  • Track and analyze campaign data to provide accurate performance reporting

Other Responsibilities

  • Stay up to date on the latest Commerce and Retail Media Network trends and best practices
  • Manage budget and timelines for client campaigns
  • Prepare and socialize regular reporting for clients and internal leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field
  • 5-7 years’ experience working in affiliate marketing
  • Excellent knowledge of digital media and affiliate partner platforms
  • Excellent quantitative and data analysis skills, and comfort level interpreting test results, and making data-driven decisions
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to dive in
  • Able to collaborate with internal and external marketing and technology teams
  • Extremely detail-oriented, efficient, and organized with an exceptional ability to establish priorities and objectives
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Able to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships with diverse individuals, internally and externally
  • Creative, progressive, thought leadership with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent leadership skills including the ability to build teams, motivate, guide, and mentor
