Overview

The Salesforce Administrator will support the Planet Fitness organization by enhancing current business processes and establishing new processes with declarative, efficient solutions in Salesforce. The Salesforce Administrator will lead projects from concept to completion by working closely with the business to understand project requirements. The Salesforce Administrator will also identify the simplest technical approach, build, test, deploy, validate, and document the solution once the business objectives are met.

 

In addition to project-based work, the Salesforce Administrator will also provide production support to internal and external users via a case queue using Service Cloud. The Salesforce Administrator must demonstrate exceptional communication skills, dedication to customer service, and the ability to quickly respond, triage, and solve for issues impacting Salesforce utilization.

Responsibilities

General System Administration: 

  • Interpret business requirements to strategize, research, design, build, test, and deploy the most efficient and scalable solutions using the Salesforce technology stack.
  • Have and maintain deep knowledge of standard Salesforce features including custom objects, fields, page layouts, lightning record pages, formulas, validation rules, territory models, sharing rules, assignment and escalation rules, approval processes, reports, dashboards, profiles, roles, permission sets, field level security, email-to-case, and more.
  • Have and maintain a mid-level skillset for all out-of-the-box automation tools (Flow, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules), utilizing Flow Builder as primary tool for all new automation.
  • Maintain existing automation using Workflow Rules and Process Builder and migrate automation to Flow as new enhancement opportunities arise with the business needs.
  • Have a mid-level understanding of third-party tools and how to apply their features to complex business solutions (i.e., Conga Composer, FormAssembly, DocuSign).
  • Manage internal and community licenses while maintaining governance standards for SOX requirements.
  • Train users internally on using the Salesforce platform, prepare training materials and user guides as needed, and lead ongoing training sessions.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues that arise as users apply new processes.
  • Champion strict change management procedures to adhere to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) control requirements.
  • Manage workload using an agile methodology with Confluence and Jira.
  • Familiar with data management and data governance concepts.
  • Configure and monitor ongoing data backup and recovery jobs to maintain high security for PF’s Salesforce instance.

 

Production Support:

  • Manage and be the primary person responsible for Salesforce team Case queue.
  • Maintain minimum service level agreements as defined by the Sr. Manager, Business Systems.
  • Monitor Dataloader scheduled jobs to ensure on-time delivery to the appropriate business stakeholders.
  • Maintain a production support Q&A library for the team to utilize.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification(ADM-201), required
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification(ADM-211) or Platform App Builder(CRT-403), preferred
  • 3+ years of Salesforce experience
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of Apex, Lightning and JavaScript, a plus
  • Knowledge of CCPA and GDPR, a plus
  • Demonstrative integrity and authenticity
  • Action-oriented and able to take initiative
  • Possesses excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail, efficient, and organized with an ability to establish priorities and objectives
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
